Peace Project is an annual event initiated by Path-U-Find Communications and the College of Mount Saint Vincent.  The Student Government of the college, as well as other influential departments provide annual funding and support for the endeavor.  Founded by Billy Hallowell (youth activist, writer, and public speaker - http://www.billyhallowell.com), the event uses celebrities and inspirational speakers to reach the hearts of young people.  On March 30, 2007 influential public speakers, socially-conscience celebrities and others will gather to make a difference...and you and your school, organization and/or company are invited.

NEW YORK CITY YOUTH TO ATTEND INSPIRING EVENT (5th ANNUAL

 PEACE PROJECT)

New York City, New York

Get inspired, educated and entertained.  Join celebrities, youth activists and hundreds of teenagers and young adults on March 30, 2007 for Peace Project 2007.  The event will take place in Hayes Auditorium at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, New York City (Bronx) and will begin at 10:30 a.m., concluding around 1:30 p.m.

Nickelodeon’s Lori Beth Denberg (All That) will appear among other well-known celebrities and activists in support of this amazing initiative.  Peace Project’s goal is to get young people to look closer, not only at the world around them, but also at their lives and interactions with one another.

Students will hear inspirational speeches, view life-changing performances and have the opportunity to empower themselves as well as their generation.  Past speakers have included Columbine survivors, a 9/11 firefighter/survivor, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and a variety of other celebrities and influential persons.

This is the fifth annual project brought to you by the College of Mount Saint Vincent and Path-U-Find Communications (www.pathufind.com).  Peace Project encourages young people to make positive and healthy decisions in their lives and was created by 23-year-old journalist, public speaker and youth activist Billy Hallowell (www.billyhallowell.com).

We welcome groups from organizations and schools, as well as media companies for the event.  Please contact us for further information or to obtain press passes using the above information.  Help us help America’s youth secure a healthy, positive and enriching future.
